European-Australian Workshop on Quantum-Atom Optics

This will be the third workshop in Quantum-Atom Optics which brings together students and researchers from the SFB Hannover, France and Australia.

We will review the latest trends in quantum and atom optics and discuss the recent progress in this field. The topics will include: BEC, atom lasers, atom interferometry, quantum correlations and entanglement in photons and atoms, non-classical light, quantum information transfer and storage.

The workshop will have about 30 talks, many by students, posters and lively discussions.
Participants: 50% PhD students and 50% researchers from Europe and Australia. Maximum number of attendees limited to 70 people.

Speakers during the 4 day program will include: Alain Aspect, William Phillips, Eugene Polzik Marcel Lewenstein , Luis Santos, Michele Leduc, Vim Vassen, Akira Furusawa, Tim Ralph, Hans Bachor, Ping Koy Lam, Peter Drummond, Peter Hannaford
